We aim to create an environment that encourages critical thinking and curiosity.

At ASA, our approach to learning encourages critical thinking and curiosity. Students will become fluent in the use of technology and will learn to program, with every student being allocated their own computer. Students are surrounded by proactive teaching and learning and we encourage a close, interactive partnership between students and staff. It is important to celebrate success and we place a great emphasis on celebrating our students’ achievements.

Curriculum

ASA prepares students to achieve internationally recognised Cambridge International Advanced Level Qualifications within a single year. We support our students to go on to study Engineering, Computer Science, Maths and Science courses at universities within Africa and abroad.

All students study A Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics. It is important to emphasise that our students must love Maths; our curriculum is extremely rewarding for those who enjoy abstract Maths and complex problem solving tasks.

All students at ASA are given the means and support to excel. ASA is a springboard to outstanding success at university and beyond.
